About c-Seven Media Inc. c-Seven Media was established in 1998 and has grown from a small web design firm to a full web solutions provider. c-Seven's services include IT consulting, graphic design, web hosting, custom programming and search engine optimization. c-Seven is the creator of Mantis CMS which enables c-Seven to "jump start" the website development process and reduce the barriers for entry for small to medium size businesses.
About Mantis Mantis CMS as concept was begun in 2000 by a company called c-Seven Media, a group of young web designers that liked building web sites, but didn't enjoy the ongoing text changes and minor revisions that would fill up their days. They realized that giving their customers control over their content would make them happier as those customers could update it themselves, and it made c-Seven happier because they could focus on designing sites and building more CMS tools.
Mantis has grown from just a simple text editor to a full suite of content management tools and is being recognized as the CMS product of choice by companies like Metroland Media Group, SBC Media, and the Girl Guides of Canada.
